Diddy Warns Rappers About Kanye West: "Yeezy Murdered The Game!"
... years. You have like, Steve Jobs, Walt Disney, Henry Ford, Howard Hughes, Nicolas Ghesquière, Anna Wintour, David Stern. I think that's a responsibility that I have, to push possibilities, to show people: "This is the level that things could be at." So when you get something that has the name Kanye West on it, it's supposed to be pushing the furthest possibilities. I will be the leader of a company that ends up being worth billions of dollars, because I got the answers. I understand culture. I am the nucleus." (New York Times)

The Lonely Island 'Go Kindergarten' with Diddy, Paul Rudd, and Robyn in New Video
... long-player, The Wack Album, which came out today. So far we've been treated a late-night mashup with Alanis Morissette, guest appearances by Zach Galifianakis and James Franco in the pro-homo video for "Spring Break Anthem," an ironic lyric video for the Solange-featuring "Semicolon", and T-Pain's incestuous cyborg cry on "I Fucked My Aunt". His real name is Sean Combs. He was known as Puff Daddy (his high school football teammates gave him the nickname because he used to puff out his chest to look big) until 2001, when he changed it to P. Diddy, which is a name Biggie Smalls called him. In 2005, he announced on the Today show that he would now be known as "Diddy" because the P was "getting between me and my fans."
He sent Luther Vandross to serenade his love interest, Jennifer Lopez, on Valentine's Day, 2001. It didn't work, they broke up soon after.
In 1999, he was arrested and later acquitted of a nightclub shooting. In 2001, NBC ran an episode of Law And Order based on the incident.
Before becoming a mogul, he danced in the video for "I'm Not The Man I Used To Be" by The Fine Young Cannibals.
His father was a New York City hustler. He was murdered when Diddy was 2.
He went to Howard University, but dropped out after 2 years.
He has a popular clothing line called Sean John. (thanks, Brett - Edmonton, Canada)
