| Many of their songs have really goofy lyrics which they often change in concert, sometimes making them up as they go along. |
| The band is from a town/city on the outskirts of Toronto called Scarborough, but the boys often call it "Scar-beria" referring to the desolate wasteland of Siberia. They had success in Canada a few years before they broke in America. (thanks, Cory - Olds, AB) |

| The First time I heard their cover of "Lovers In A Dangerous Time" I was traveling through Alberta, I think between Lethbridge and Calgary. Then I heard it again a few days later as I approached White Horse, YT (I was going to Alaska from the States.) I liked BNL but I had to go to Canada to hear my favorite song of all time!
While I'm at it, I'd like to say something about Canada: You guys got the hottest women in the world, and some of the greatest times in my miserable existence have been in your fine country! | A great event to be mentioned would be their performance at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games at Salt lake city. Each night after the medal ceremonies a musical guest would play. THey played on one of the nights in full bobsled attire. Notice this is Salt lake City in the middle of February and they are wearing thin skintight suits. Hilarious...
