Like Eminem, they are from Detroit, Michigan. They hate Eminem, however, and have often dissed him in their songs. (thanks, justin - hoodsport, WA)
When the group started they had 3 members and were called Inner-City Posse, which was the name of their street gang. The third person was John Utsler, Shaggy 2 Dope's brother. (thanks, Brittany - FAll River, MA)
They have a bunch of albums, which they call the 6 joker's cards. They are, in order, Carnival of Carnage, The Ringmaster, The Riddle Box, The Great Milenko, The Amazing Jeckall Brothers, and The Wraith. (thanks, justin - hoodsport, WA)
The group wears clown make-up on stage. Their concerts are very raucous, and involve dousing the audience with Faygo, a cheap brand of soda they are fond of. Their shows often involve fire, wrestling, and chainsaws.
Their big break came in 1997 when their record label, which was owned by Disney, dropped the group because of protests over their album The Great Milenko. The group was signed by Island Records, and the resulting controversy got them in the news and helped sell lots of albums.
J and Shaggy, along with Manager Alex Abbis, own and operate Psychopathis Records, one of the most successful independent record labels. (thanks, Draven - Chicago, IL)
ICP appeared on several episodes of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in the late '90s, and even participated in some matches. Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope went on to form their own league known as JCW (Juggalo Championship Wrestling). They even had matches involving such WWF hall of famers as the Iron Sheik, King Kong Bundy, and Abdullah the Butcher. (thanks, joe - lotus pod, MI and Andy - Arlington, VA)
They appeared in the Backyard Wrestling video game series as playable characters. (thanks, edward - wheaton, IL)
the classic albums (those before the final joker card dropped) are always going to be the best. Bang! Pow! Boom! was good, had a lot of underlying meanings easy for society to understand, but it just was not as fresh. Out of all the hidden messages, the easiest to understand is the one within the phrase "Wicked Clowns Never Die" because we are all mortals, we all must die one day, but the spirit of the hatchet is going to live on no matter what. I am going to raise my children to be 'los or 'lettes because it taught me what the meaning of true family is. None of the haters will understand because they have never gone to a show where you have a whole building full of people that have your back and shout out to you with every breath that they have. I know what it means to be a Juggalo, and i will never change, no matter what my trackers may say, no matter what the judge's opinion is, and for sure not because of what some haters have to say about my life and the people i chose to associate with. "You focus on your life, i will focus on mine," is what I have to say to all the haters out there. And to all Psychopathic family out there, I love yall, keep it scrubbin. WHOOP WHOOP MMFWCL - Marty, Tooele, UT

- Tom, Marble Falls, AR
ICP's best album i think is the ringmaster i like chicken huntin it is a great song
- nick, Jackson, MI
Joe from the Lotus Pod, I have so many corrections for you, it's astonishing.
1. Hollywood Records, not Island, was the Disney Label that caused all the drama with Milenko. Island records later bought ICP's contract, and ICP remained on Island until the Wraith dropped.
2. The Great Milenko is considered by MANY Juggalos to be the best ICP album. Easily the majority. And this is coming from someone who's been in the Juggalo world for quite some time, has listened to all the Jokers cards, Dark Lotus, Rydas, Inner City Posse, the works. And in my opinion, Milenko is indeed the best ICP album. Get over yourself.
3. The least Juggalo-like behavior, EVER, is sitting on a throne and trying to judge who is and isn't a Juggalo. A juggalo can be someone who never listened to ICP in their life. But sitting there and saying "YOU'RE NOT A REAL JUGGALO!" is something that ICP themselves have said NOBODY has the right to judge. - Joe, Buffalo, NY
To LORENA from SANTA MONICA CA, it isn't hard to tell you are not a juggalo. Any real juggalo would be quick to disagree with your choice of best ICP album and would point out that there isn't many albums that are worse than that one. True this album got the most attention in the main-stream media wave due, but this was due to the Island Records(a Disney Company)withdrew the album from shelfs. The main-stream attention was not garnered because of it's musical content, but because of the conflict with Island Records. For all of you that insist that Great Milenko is their best album, you are now being asked to listen to few other joker card albums and some of their callaboration works with Twiztid and/or Esham and ABK. There is just so much more wicked music out there to be hung up on the Great Milenko Album. P.S. Check out Shaggy's live internet radio broadcast bi weekly. I'd post the url but it has explixit content. - joe, lotus pod, MI
ICP has their own wrestling league and is available for viewing on dvd. They have expanded their recording accomplishments beyond the jokers cards and each of their respective follow up albums by releasing solo albums as well as callaboration albums with another duo in the psycopathic family Twiztid and Detroit underground legend Esham! - joe, lotus pod, MI
Well, i'm not sure about WCW, but i know they were in the WWF(when it was still the WWF). They hung around a group of midcard talents called the Oddities. They were all either 7 feet tall, 400lbs, or soem combination thereof. One guy carried a giant stuffed cartman to the ring. - Dan, New York, NY
they appeared in the bakcyard wrestling video game series - edward, wheaton, IL
ICP appeared on several episodes of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in the late '90s, and even participated in some matches. - Andy, Arlington, VA
It is so hot that we have Juggalos and Jugglettes in this world cuz there is not another group that you can say you have family around the world anywhere I go its MCL if you know what I mean Peace out
